About North Cascade Cardiology

In 1975, Whatcom County's first board-certified general cardiologist, Dr. Roland Trenouth, founded North Cascade Cardiology, PLLC, with the goal of bringing diagnosis and treatment options to the Bellingham area. Over the years, we have grown our practice carefully, mindful of the specific needs of our patients and community, to become the pre-eminent center for cardiovascular care in Bellingham and beyond, serving both Ketchikan, Alaska and Friday Harbor, WA. Once a single cardiologist clinic, North Cascade Cardiology is now home to seventeen practitioners, including cardiologists and nurse practitioners representing multiple subspecialties.

As a busy referral practice with a regional and national reputation, we have access to the most current technology. This technology, when placed in the hands of skilled physicians, is ultimately used to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
