Cardiac Catheterization Lab

North Cascade Cardiology is pleased to offer ease of access and convenience for our patients who require outpatient diagnostic procedures through our on-site cardiac catheterization lab. Advances in technology have enabled us to perform this test in a less stressful outpatient setting rather than in the hospital. This offers several advantages to our patients. Scheduled times in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab are maintained due to the absence of competing emergency procedures that can arise in a hospital setting. Our staff is dedicated to delivering the personalized care to our patients that this level of service requires.

What is a Heart Catheterization?
Cardiac catheterization, also referred to as coronary angiography, is a test that allows your physician to study the circulation to and around your heart, and to assess your heart muscle's blood supply. It also allows the physician to observe the main pumping chamber of the heart.
