Vascular Ultrasound

The noninvasive diagnostic vascular laboratory offers you a cost effective and accurate method for evaluating the arteries and veins in most areas of the body by utilizing ultrasound imaging and doppler flow analysis. A specially trained vascular technologist will apply heated ultrasound gel to the area of interest and then scan the area with a hand held transducer. The purpose of this exam is to evaluate for the presence of vascular disease, such as blockages of blood flow. Diagnostic Ultrasound exams are noninvasive, painless, and pose no known risk. These studies are performed by a highly skilled technologist, and a report is generated by a cardiologist with specialized training for interpreting vascular ultrasound examinations.

NCC vascular ultrasound lab provides comprehensive testing for the evaluation of the carotid, peripheral arterial, peripheral venous and visceral/abdominal vascular systems in an accommodating facility using state of the art equipment. Our standards for quality of care, customer service, patient comfort and diagnostic accuracy are set high for your satisfaction.
